
Chandra Bahadur Thapa, the Director of National Exports Pvt. Ltd., was honored with the Commercially Important Person (CIP) award by the Government of Nepal on July 16, 2025. This recognition was bestowed upon him for his significant contributions to Nepal’s export sector, particularly in the trade of wool felt products. National Exports Pvt. Ltd., was acknowledged for facilitating exports exceeding NPR 5 billion during the fiscal years 2022/23 and 2023/24. The CIP award ceremony took place in Kathmandu, where Minister for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with the private sector to achieve national prosperity.
